First weekend of the month!

Saturday agenda-race?

Here is what I found for the first saturday of this weekend:

1. best damn race Orlando half
2. glow run 5k *
3. super hero 5k
4. hope 4 a cure 5k/10k

* double header possible

I passed on the former (furthest and longest) and picked the latter (Miami is closest in proximity). Clint time:

The good: podium, finisher medal, decent weather
The bad: 2nd age (I like to win), start time
The ugly: the course

Due to the travel and timing, I skipped the glow run (night event), forfeiting the double op.

Sunday agenda-race?

Here is what I found for the first sunday of this weekend:

1. rnr marti gras marathon/half
2. ft myers half
3. marathon of the treasure coast
4. 305 half and 5k
5. 5k 4 a better day

I picked the latter, passing up all distance events. Unfortunately for me, I didn't place and no finisher medals given out, despite great categories.

Conclusion:

I went from hero (Saturday) to zero (sunday).
