Easter weekend!

Easter weekend! This is a truly holy weekend, that was preceeded by good Friday. Passover begins today then easter tomorrow!

Saturday agenda-race?

All races for the weekend were crammed in on this day:

1. rooney's 5k
2. egg hunt du/tri

I have been to both before but not this year; I opted to train instead.

Sunday agenda-race?

Not! No one dared to schedule an event on this day. it seems a mockery was made of this holy day with easter bunnies and eggs but when I look deep into it, the eggs are buried (Jesus was hung up on a cross) and kids have to find them, much like we need to find Christ. This day is recognized because our savior rose up from grave and continued the mission until called back up by our heavenly father; Happy Easter!
