The good, the bad & the ugly (independence day update)

The Good

* We won the series (relay division).
* The plaques were customized with an action photo of the participants. That was one of the most innovative ideas yet by Multirace.

The Bad

* JM was added to the team in the final 2 of the 6 events & was instrumental in the team's victory but did not get a series award because he didn't meet the minimum requirement (4/6) to be in series.

The Ugly

* JJ & myself were denied the amenities that the other champions received because we could not miss work to attend the awards ceremony that was held on a weekday; paramount to my denial to be in person to watch the Miami Heat parade.

I expect a repeat of the good, and the ugly can be solved by having JM in them all but the ugly is contingent on the race director. He can easily have the awards ceremony on a Saturday or Sunday night to solve that.
