Ups & downs

Saturday agenda-AVDA 5k

This was held in Delray beach. I set out to win the master's title & break 19 but I ran too fast & captured 3rd overall (Up)! ha ha ha. They gave medals (down) instead of trophies.

Sunday agenda-Escape to Miami triathlon

Completed as a co-ed relay team, we missed placing by 7 seconds (down) but shattered the time set by last year's team (up).

Turnabout's fair play

This weekend was the Publix family fitness weekend championship.

Individual agenda - Duathlon:
I ran in 5th place, lost positions on the bike but kept within range & waited in transition for nearly a half hour (hence, the title) for teammate. I finished 2nd to Paul Marmaro, last year's series elite champion. This is my year.

Team agenda - Triathlon:
Done as relay, since you all know I am aquatically challenged. Teammate JJ swam & cycled while injured. After that long wait, I ran to complete both the du & tri relay.

Results:
2nd place in respective categories. Detail in beta.
